JOB DESCRIPTION

We are currently seeking an enthusiastic, professional individual to join our team as a Receptionist/ Shampoo Technician, committed to managing salon procedures and providing an excellent customer experience. The position is open to one full-time candidate or multiple part-time candidates. This role requires someone who is highly organized, personable, and adaptable to any task. Experience with the hair/ beauty industry, scheduling, and customer service is preferred.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Receptionist Duties

Greet clients warmly and ensure overall satisfaction with their salon experience.
Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and manage the salon's booking system efficiently.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the salon, reception area, retail displays, and back room.
Manage cash and electronic payments and process transactions.
Coordinate with stylists and other staff members to ensure smooth operations and excellent customer service.

Shampoo Technician Duties

Assist stylists with preparing clients for their services or assist with color processes by providing thorough and relaxing shampoo treatments.
Apply conditioning treatments and other haircare products as directed by stylists.
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of shampoo stations and equipment.
Keep inventory of haircare products and supplies and communicate any needs to salon management.
Wash and store linens and stylists’ supplies and equipment.

QUALIFICATIONS

Previous experience in a customer service or receptionist role is preferred.
Basic knowledge of haircare and salon procedures is a plus but not required; we are willing to train the right candidate.
Advanced computer skills and experience with POS and scheduling software.
Exceptional customer service skills.
Empathy, compassion, and a strong sense of genuine kindness!
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
Professional demeanor.
Flexibility to work on Saturdays.
